WAYNE — First Saturday at the Williams House, 14 Old Winthrop Road, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 6. There will be a book sale and “boutique” breakfast.
Stop by for coffee or tea and quiche or a scone and shop at the ongoing book sale and boutique.
Grange hosting bean supper
DANVILLE — Danville Junction Grange will host a bean supper on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Legion supper to benefit Scouts
GRAY — A supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the American Legion Post, 15 Lewiston Road.
Proceeds will go to local Boy Scout Troop 86. Scouts will help serve beans, casseroles, salads and pies. Cost is adults, $8; children under 12, $4.
Craft, vendor, antique fair
LEWISTON — There will be a craft, vendor and antique fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1567 Lisbon St.

Legion to hold chowder/sandwich meal
MECHANIC FALLS — A corn or fish chowder with grilled cheese sandwich dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at American Legion Post 150, 41 Elm St.
Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for ages 5-12.

Breakfast planned at Legion post
AUBURN — A breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at American Legion Post 31, 426 Washington St.
Menu consists of eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, hash, beans, biscuit and gravy, pastry, toast, juice and coffee.
Cost is $5. There will be a 50/50 raffle.
KIDS! Explore Canada at library
AUBURN — Children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade may learn about the Auburn Public Library’s newest activity kit on the country of Canada from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the Maggie Trafton Room.
Doris Bonneau will present stories and activities that will help children explore Canada. They will learn facts about Canada and hockey, create a craft and taste traditional Canadian food.
The program is part of the “Fun with French” series sponsored by the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation. It is free and all are welcome.
Bridge Club announces winners
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners on Jan. 19 were: first, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; and, second, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier.
Winners on Jan. 25 were: first, Rosemarie and Tom Goodwin; second, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman; third, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; and first in B, Cynthia and Bill Clifford.
Winners on Jan. 26 were: first, Nancy Lindgren and Les Buzzell; second, Larry Kolkhorst and Lance Bukoff; and third/fourth tie, Tom Goodwin and Paul Clement with Dick Allen and Pete Cummings.
High scorers for January were: Les Buzzell, Marta Clements, Nancy Lindgren, Luke Merry and Dick Allen.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is guaranteed and all bridge players are welcome.

LEWISTON — Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners on Jan. 28 were: first place, Steve Agurkis and Claudette Grandmaison; second, Henry Maheux and Stan Tetenman; third, Don Haley and Sandra Oliver; fourth place, Cecile Bussiere and George Bussiere; and fifth, Arline Laplante and Cecilia Treworgy.
The Seniors play on Thursdays at the Lewiston Memorial Armory.
