AUBURN — Two physicians who specialize in cardiac care and cancer care will be the keynote speakers at the third annual “Her Heart” luncheon event set for Feb. 10.
Cardiologist Dervilla McCann, MD, and medical oncologist Nicholette Erickson, MD, will discuss “Cancer Treatment Options and Cardiovascular Disease: Prevention and Minimizing Risks in Women” at the event, which is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute and the Maine Women’s Network.
Both McCann and Erickson have long-standing connections with cardiac and cancer patients, respectively, in the region served by CMHVI and Central Maine Medical Center.
The $25 registration fee includes a heart-healthy lunch.
