LEWISTON — A Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute care provider will discuss pacemakers at a presentation Feb. 11.

Sala will discuss why some people need cardiac pacemakers, how they work and what they look like. He will also talk about atrial fibrillation, a heart beat disturbance often treated with a pacemaker.

The program is being offered free. Participants are asked to register in advance. Interpreter services are available upon advance request.
