1941 – 2016

TAMPA, Fla. — Mary Joann Weatherspoon Miracle, 74, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Kindred Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

Joann worked as a private-duty nurse for seniors in Florida. She was a member of the Elwood Park Baptist Church.

Joann was born in Georgetown, Ohio, to the late Richard and Ruth (Carter) Weatherspoon.

Joann is survived by a daughter, Tina Marie (Chuck) Ratliff of Riverview, Fla, and a son, Aaron (Stacy) Miracle of Bradenton, Fla., who she shared with Gill Miracle; two grandchildren, Cheyanne and Chase Ratliff of Riverview, Fla.; and one brother, Arnold (Brenda) Weatherspoon of Russellville, Ohio. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Beside her parents, Joann was predeceased by one infant sister, Donna Faye; and her brother, Wayne Weatherspoon.
