RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will hold a Dance-A-Thon at the Rangeley Lakes Regional School beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, March 18, and continuing through the night until 6 a.m. Saturday, March 19.
Prizes and special awards for dancers, as well as great music, dancing and special events, will make this a fun event for participants and spectators.
Dancers need to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges to participate. The winners, the last dancer standing in each age group, will receive half of their pledge amount back. Age groups will be 14 to 20, 21 to 35, and 36 and older.
Additional prizes will be given for best dressed, best dance moves and more.
General admission will be $5.
Pledge forms are available at RLRS and at the Chamber of Commerce, and complete information and forms may be downloaded online by clicking on the Dance-A-Thon tab. All funds raised will go to support youth arts programs in the Rangeley region.
