LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host another in its Seminar Series on Finance Matters.

“Best Retirement Plans for Your Business will be presented from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St. Presenters will be Austin Albert and Marc Paquette of Twin City Financial.

There are retirement plans for businesses of every size, whether there are three employees or 300, or no employees. A number of retirement plan solutions are affordable. In some cases, employees actually help pay for annual costs and owners may qualify for a federal tax credit, which can help pay for startup costs during the first three years of the plan.

Not all small-business retirement plans require the employer to contribute money. For those that do, the contributions are tax-deductible. Today’s small-business plans are relatively easy to set up and operate. Some have no annual IRS reporting requirements.
