WEST PARIS — Mark Zeegers, 59, of West Paris died on Monday, Feb. 15, with his family by his side.

He had many friends over the years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATVs, anything with a motor or tree limb.

Known and loved by many, we know him as “Dad,” “Grandpa,” “Big Mark,” “Zeegers” or “that friendly, talkative, give-his-shirt-off-his-back stranger soon to be your friend.”

However you experienced his spirit in this life, you will never forget.

Mark is survived by his wife of 33 years, Betty Zeegers; his two children; Mark Zeegers II and Mindy Zeegers; a grandson, Colbie Mayer; a brother, Rick Zeegers; and nieces and nephews.
