1953 – 2016

LEWISTON — Helen L. Moses, 62, of Lewiston, passed over to the Lord Saturday, Feb. 13, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Duncan, Okla., on Aug. 23, 1953, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Pemberton) Rightmire.

Helen grew up in Duncan, Okla., and Farmington, N.M., where she enjoyed her passion of roller skating. After high school she furthered her education at the Dallas Baptist University.

She had worked on the carnival circuit as an agent with Billy Burr, Fun-O-Rama Carnival, Arby’s of Auburn, and most recently as a certified nursing assistant Med-Tech at Marshwood Nursing Home.

Helen married Harvey Moses Sr. in 2001, the love of her life and soulmate, and they were constant companions.

She enjoyed camping and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Besides her husband of Lewiston, she is survived by her children, Daniel Tolman and his wife, Sarah, of Acton, Melissa Nicholson and her husband, Jason, of Lewiston, Rachael Hamilton and her husband, Jay, of Lisbon Falls, and Harvey Moses Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Lewiston; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers Harley and Wesley Rightmire; a sister, Marion Waldron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by three brothers, Troy, Kermit and Raymond Rightmire.
