ANSWER: Come on readers, let’s put those rings back on Betty’s fingers. Best of luck to you, Betty.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Many thanks for all you do. It’s been decades since I first registered to vote in Maine and would like to find out which party I registered under. Any idea where I can locate this information? Thank you and have a nice day. — No Name, Lewiston.

ANSWER: In Maine, each town has a designated municipal registrar who is in charge of voter registration information. If you contact this person in the town in which you are registered to vote, then he or she will be able to provide you that information.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Tommy’s Feral Felines will hold its Easter Extravaganza Bake Sale and Bottle Drive along with a Bottle Drive on Friday and Saturday, March 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Chapter 11 on Main Street in Lewiston, next to Cumberland Farms and across from Burger King.

In addition to offering a variety of delicious baked goods, Tommy’s will also be collecting bottles and cans. Tommy’s can always use as many bakers as possible so we would love to hear from anyone who would like to help by providing baked goods.

Tommy’s Feral Felines is an all volunteer, no kill organization, which receives no official funding and relies solely on the donations and the income generated by its fundraising events. Tommy’s staff works hard 365 days a year in all kinds of Maine weather to support abandoned cats that live a feral existence. In addition to feeding and sheltering the cats, Tommy’s provides spaying and neutering, vaccinations and other medical care to the animals, many of which are too many generations feral to be adoptable.

Whether you would like to pick up some yummy baked goods, have bottles or cans to drop by or would just like to make a donation, please mark these dates on your calendar and make the springtime brighter for our furry friends and those who work so selflessly to care for them.

For further information or to make a donation, you can contact Norm Blais at (207) 240-8767 or at normblais@yahoo.com or at P. O. Box 274, Greene, ME 04236. Tommy’s and all of their feral kitties thank you for your help.
