FARMINGTON — The University of Maine Career Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, in the corridor of the Olsen Student Center, South Street.

The event is hosted by UMF Career Services and is free and open to the public.

An annual event for more than 15 years, the spring job fair features recruiting representatives from more than 54 businesses, nonprofit and government organizations, summer camps and school districts. Representatives will be on campus to hire for full-time and part-time career positions, seasonal jobs and internships.

Organizations represented include those focusing on business and finance, technology, community and mental health programs, education, recreation sports, hospitality services and summer camps.

Registration is not required by job-seekers. In the event of cancellation becausdue to inclement weather, the fair will take place on Friday, March 4.
