HARTFORD — Two seats are up for grabs in Hartford during the June election cycle – a selectman and the town clerk, treasurer and tax collector position.

Selectman Peggy Poskus’ term is up this year. The selectman seat has a three-year term. Town Clerk Lianne Bedard’s three title position is available, also for three years, according to Selectmen Chair Lee Holman.

Nomination papers become available Monday, March 21, and must be returned by Saturday, April 30, at the town office, 1196 Main St.

The public hearing to review ordinances and budget articles will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9. The election will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at the town hall, next door to the town office. Annual town meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the town hall.
