BATH — The Chocolate Church Arts Center will debut the 2016 Membership Art Show with a reception from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, in the annex building, 804 Washington St., Bath.
“This show is a highlight of our gallery year while we anxiously wait to see what artwork is entered,” said Jennifer Wilkey, CCAC board member and curator of this exhibit. “Guests will view a diverse collection of mixed media of pastel, oil, acrylic painting, photography and sculpture and textile.”
This annual exhibit highlights the creative work of local artists such as Sandra Johnson, Robert Copeland, Peggy Kapisovsky, Felicity Sidewell, Melanie Willey, Debra Ater, Jessica Arsenault, Amy Puleo, Rick Christenson, Robert S. Howe, Cory Gardiner, Wayne Robbins, Kathy Harris.
Guests can meet artists during the reception that is free and open to the public. Immediately following the reception, it is the opening night for “Visiting Mr. Green,” a theater production at 7 p.m. in the Curtis Room.
The CCAC Membership Arts Show will be on display until April 1 during gallery hours, which are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.; Thursday from noon to 6 p.m.; and alternating Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.
