AUBURN — Several enrichment course are being offered at Auburn Adult Education during March.
How Money Works: This course teaches students how to avoid the most common mistakes where most people are losing $300 to $800 a month. Judy Simoneau and Crystal Rogers, a mother/daughter team, have together 25 years of financial advising experience. They teach people about the basics of investing and mutual funds. Starts Thursday, March 3.
Buying vs Renting: This course will discuss, “Should I rent or should I own?” It starts Wednesday, March 9.
Introduction to Stress Relief, Relaxation and Stretching: Wednesday, March 9.
Blues Harmonica for Beginners: This course will teach students to play the blues harmonica in just a few weeks. No musical experience necessary. Starts Monday, March 14.
Tax-Free Investing: It’s Not What You Make, It’s What You Keep: Students will learn how certain investments can deliver tax-free income and possibly keep a lower tax bracket. Class begins Tuesday, March 15.
How to Jump Start a New (or Existing) Business: This course will explore proven tools to successfully grow/maintain a business. Class starts Wednesday, March 16.
Seller’s Seminar: This course will discuss when is the right time to sell. Class will start Wednesday, March 16.
Alcohol Ink Painting: Students will paint with alcohol inks on 4 x 4” tiles. Course begins Wednesday, March 16.
Well Water Pump and Filtration: If a home or office water is supplied by a private well, there may be questions or concerns about how to maintain the well water system. Starting Tuesday, March 22.
Unique Mosaics: Course begins Tuesday, March 22.
Art of Watercolor: Watercolor is a way to start learning the art of watercolor techniques with mixing watercolors and using brushes for special effects. Starting Tuesday, March 29.
