WILTON — Student musicians and their teachers will provide more than two hours of musical entertainment during the Mt. Blue Music Boosters’ first spring fundraiser, the fifth annual Dinner Cabaret, which will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday March 6, at Calzolaio Pasta Company.
The entertainment will include Thadeus Gunther on accordion; Karen Beacham and student classical quartet; Steve Muise and four small groups from the Franklin County Fiddlers; and Adrian St. Pierre and a student vocal quartet.
There will be a silent auction with gift certificates and items donated by local merchants.
The meal will be a full course Italian buffet with dessert. A bar will be available.
Admission for adults is $25 a ticket, $20 for seniors and $15 for students. Tickets are available at the Wilton Public Library and Devaney, Doak and Garrett Booksellers in Farmington.
Reservations may be made by contacting 207-645-9500.
Upcoming Mt. Blue Music Boosters events include ice cream socials in March following each of the spring concerts held at Mt. Blue High School; a call-for-a-pick-up bottle drive to take place the end of March; and the Flamingo Bomb April 17 to 30, where $15 will deliver flock of flamingos, under the shadow of darkness, to the address of choosing to greet their “host” in the morning.
