FARMINGTON — Residents can gain the skills and confidence needed to stretch money, pay bills, reduce debt, find money for savings, plan for retirement and set personal financial goals.
New Ventures Maine will offer the free workshop, “My Money Works: Tools for Smart Money Choices,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, at 108 Perham St., Suite 2.
At the end of the class attendees will have a plan to achieve greater financial stability. A follow-up session is scheduled to provide additional networking and support.
New Ventures Maine is a statewide nonprofit organization committed to improving the economic lives of Maine residents. The organization works with all individuals “where they are” and provides them with support, guidance and the tools they need to take the next steps toward a more promising future. New Ventures Maine provides individual assistance and group training in building careers, starting and growing businesses, planning for financial security and becoming community leaders.
