AUBURN —

, 88, of Auburn passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 28, surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 10, 1927, in Auburn, the daughter of Oliva and Leda Laliberte Jean. She attended Walton Junior High School and graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1946. After graduation she worked at Senter, Giroux & Caniff Co. as a sales clerk for more than 20 years. She then went on to work at the Frances Store, Priscilla Theatre and Nanking Restaurant. She was a member of Holy Family Church.

On May 30, 1953, she married Roger M. Thibault and together they had two daughters, Joline and Gisele. Roger passed away on Dec. 5, 1971. She later married Joseph R. Gallant on May 5, 1989, and he passed away Oct. 5, 2002.

She resided at Clover Health Care for the past 10 years and enjoyed participating in the activities. Beatrice especially enjoyed the church services, bible studies and music programs.

Survivors include Richard (Joline) Banaitis of Lewiston, Thomas (Gisele) Larrivee of Minot; two sisters, Bertrand (Rita) Castonguay and  Norman (Anna) Paradis. both of Jay; three sisters-in-law, Francis Jean of New Jersey, Marguerite Thibault and Lorraine (Thibault) Caron, a brother-in-law, Henry Cusson, all of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her grandchildren, whom she dearly loved Jeff (Tina) Cote of Wells, Scott (Cheryl) Foster of Farmington, Rachel Y. Larrivee of Auburn, Sam Larrivee of Minot, Harley Kerr of Poland, Kerri Fishencord of Wylie, Texas, Todd Banaitis of Agawam, Mass., Elix (Kristi) Moran of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; great-grandchildren are Amber, Rhys, Nate, Caleb, Jacob, Amanda, Gavin, Ty, Caleb, Chloe, Maria, Madi and Maya; and two great-great-granddaughters, Vada and Ava.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger Jean and Roland Jean; her sisters, Clemance Moreau and Lucille Cusson; and two grandsons, Thomas Roger Larrivee and Richard A. Banaitis II.
