BROWNFIELD — At least one person was hurt late Wednesday after a pair of vehicles collided on Center Conway Road.

Crews from Brownfield and Fryeburg responded just after 10 p.m. when it was reported that one of the vehicles had caught fire and that occupants may be trapped inside.

Police were closing down a section of the roadway as emergency crews responded. It was not immediately clear how many people were inside the vehicles that had crashed.

The collision occurred roughly a mile from the New Hampshire border.
