LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Jeannine T. Daigneault was celebrated by the Rev. Steven Cartwright on Thursday, March 3, at Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.

At the beginning of Mass, Jeannine’s sons, Jim and Greg Daigneault, draped their mother’s casket with a white burial pall, signifying their mother’s Baptism into a new spiritual life with God. Scripture readings were proclaimed by Jeannine’s granddaughter, Jenna Daigneault and grandson, Michael Belanger. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by grandson Jeff Belanger. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by grandsons Tyler Morin and Jared and Jeff Schufeldt.

Following a funeral procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Deacon Irenee Richard, OP, recited committal prayers. At the conclusion of prayers, words of remembrance were shared by family and friends.

The pallbearers were Gerard, Jordan and James Schufeldt, Tyler Morin, and Jeff and Mike Belanger.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston.

Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home of Lewiston.
