CASCO — Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road, has announced its Holy Week itinerary.

Palm/Passion Sunday, March 20, 10 a.m.: There will be a workshop.

Thursday, March 24, at 7 p.m.: There will be a “Come to the Table” dramatic Maundy Thursday Service with the choir singing and communion served.

Good Friday, March 25: The annual Hunger Walk begins at 5:30 a.m. at the Raymond Village Community Church UCC. The walk has two options: a trek to the Casco Village Church UCC and back (16 miles), or a walk from the Casco Village Church UCC at 8 a.m. to the Raymond Community Church (8 miles).

The walk will be followed by lunch at the Raymond church.

The Casco Village Church sanctuary will remain unlocked for a 24-hour Holy Vigil from noon on Friday, March 25, to noon Saturday, March 26. Visitors may come and sit and pray or meditate and rest.

Easter Sunday, March 27: There will be a 6:30 a.m. daybreak service outside in the back of the church, watching the sunrise over Mount Quito. An Easter morning breakfast will be served after the service by the CVC men.

The Celebrational Service of Worship will be at 10 a.m. and feature Easter music by the CVC choir directed by Eugene Long. There will be special guest instrumentalists.
