1963 – 2016

ATLANTA, Ga. — David P. Mathieu, 53, passed away on Monday, Feb. 22, after a severe motorcycle accident outside of Atlanta, Ga. David made Orlando, Fla., his home for many years and was looking forward to a new beginning outside of Atlanta.

David was born in Lewiston on Jan. 29, 1963, son of Guy and Antoinette Mathieu of Sabattus.

David was an avid motorcyclist. He enjoyed taking rides around the state, fishing whenever he could and spending time outdoors with his family and friends.

David is survived by his loving mother; his daughter, Brianna Rivera and her husband, Ivan, and their two children, Christian and Jasmin; his son, Justin Pittman and his wife, Kelly, and their two children, Landen and Carter; his siblings, Marcel Mathieu and his love, Brenda Henry of Sabattus, Linda Bullard and her husband, Michael, of Falmouth, Mass., John Mathieu of Saint Petersburg, Fla., Roger Mathieu of Sabattus; and the rest of his family and friends. David also leaves behind Kellie Stansbury, his love of four years,

David was preceded in death by his wife, Norwanda Mathieu; his brother, Larry F. Mathieu; and his father, Guy E. Mathieu.
