SWEDEN – Fire crews from several towns were on Knights Hill Road late Wednesday night after a vacation home went up in flames.

Reports at about 10 p.m. were that the home at 535 Knights Hill Road was fully engulfed when the first crews began to arrive.

It was believed that the large, two-story log home was unoccupied, although details were scarce as firefighters began to battle the flames.

Knights Hill Road runs between Route 93 in Lovell and Route 302 in Bridgton.

Crews from several towns, including Waterford, Lovell and Bridgton, were joining Sweden firefighters at the scene.
