GARDINER — Maine Event Comedy presents an evening of stand-up comedy at Johnson Hall, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 26. The show features some of New England’s funniest comics and their own, unique brand of humor. There will be jokes about life in Maine, the meaning of life — and everything in between.

Seats are $16 and $14 for seniors and can be purchased at www.johnsonhall.org or by contacting Johnson Hall Monday through Wednesday and Friday noon to 3 p.m. at 582-7144. This is a 21-and-up show.

Each of the monthly shows will feature three comedians, last for approximately 90 minutes and include one intermission. These performances are intended for mature audiences and will contain adult language and content. Ages 21 + Up

This month’s comedians will include Kelly MacFarland, Will Green, Kevin Neales and host, Mark Turcotte.

Captivating crowds with her charm and playful point of view, MacFarland headlined the Boston Women in Comedy Festival, was first runner up in the 2009 Boston Comedy Festival and voted Best of the Fest 2010 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival. She has appeared on The Today Show, The View and Stand Up in Stilettos on the TV Guide Channel. She was part of Last Comic Standing Season 9 and has entertained  troops overseas.

Green is a founding member of the Portland Comedy Co-op, a group of comedians dedicated to bringing the best comedy to Portland. He recorded his debut album “Feed People” in 2014 and spent last summer on a 17-show tour spanning Maine, the Midwest and Canada.

Neales has worn a hat while slinging jokes at Boston’s Comedy Studio, the Maine Comedy Festival and The Ice House in Pasadena, Calif.

Turcotte was a recent selection to the Boston, Cleveland and North Carolina Comedy Festivals.
