Colonial Daughters to meet
FARMINGTON — Colonial Daughters, a local chapter of the National Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, at the Fairbanks Union Church.
Following the business meeting, Todd Voter of Strong will present the program. He will show pictures and tell about his visit to the French-built replica of Lafayette’s frigate, L’Hermione, which was docked in Castine last July.
Texas hold’em March 26
LOCKE MILLS — A Texas hold’em tournament will be held Saturday, March 26, at the Jackson-Silver Post 68, American Legion, 595 Gore Road. Doors open at 11 a.m. and games begin at noon.
There will be a $50 buy-in, a $5 license, high hand option and a 50/50 raffle. Meals and beverages will be available. A new flat screen will display the timer and blinds.

Corned beef supper March 26
PARIS — VFW Post 9787 will hold a corned beef supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at 58 East Main St.
Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger.
The meal is hosted by AMVETS Post 777.
Easter egg hunt in West Paris
WEST PARIS — The Friends of the Library will sponsor an Easter egg hunt for West Paris toddlers through the first grade at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Library.
There will be a gift for each child in addition to the Easter eggs found during the hunt. The child who finds the specially marked egg will receive a special prize. The festivities will include a story and a craft.
Children should be accompanied by an adult. Baskets for collecting the eggs are available if needed.
