I went Hannaford in Auburn some time ago and noticed that the American flag flying above its parking lot was tattered and torn. I spoke to a manager and pointed out that flag. He agreed that it needed replacement and, within a month, a brand new American flag was flying proudly, as it should.

I did not get the manager’s name, but he and Hannaford Corp. deserve recognition for showing respect for our nation at war.
