1956 – 2016

AUBURN — Ernest G.J. St. Laurent, 60, of Lewiston died on Sunday, March 20, at the Hospice House surrounded by his children and family after a brief battle with cancer.

Ernest was born in Lewiston on Jan. 28, 1956, to Ernest St. Laurent Sr. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked at Bath Iron Works. Ernest loved to be outdoors, and enjoyed hiking, gardening and barbecuing.

Ernest is survived by his daughters, Jessica Charest and husband, Glenn, of Lewiston, and Heather Michaud and husband, Michael, of Sabattus; his parents, Ernest and Sherrall of Auburn; his sisters, Linda St. Laurent-Parlin of Madison, Liz Copti of New Jersey, and Karen of California; as well as a brother, Gary and his companion, Laurie, of Turner. He also leaves three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and step-siblings.
