RUMFORD — The 6th annual Healthy Hearts 5K will be held on Sunday, May 15.

Registration is from 8 to 9:30 a.m., and the race begins at 10 a.m. The start/finish line is the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition office at 94 River St.

Proceeds benefit the Gardeners Growing Healthy Communities’ Tuesday Night Garden. Money will be used to sustain the garden’s operating and maintenance costs, such as seeds, fertilizer and irrigation repairs. Medals are awarded to the top men and women in three age brackets. For the last three years, area schools have fielded teams encouraging families to enter together and this year will be no exception.
