Relay for Life spaghetti supper

RUMFORD — The River Valley Relay For Life kick off and spaghetti supper for cancer survivors, caregivers and all team members will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at the Rumford Eagles Hall. There is no fee for this event.

The speaker will be Ronnie Yourell, a mother, wife and 44-year cancer survivor and fighter.

Ticket auction benefits boy scouts

PARIS — The adults of Boy Scout Troop 130 will host a ticket auction Saturday, March 26, at Oxford Hills Middle School.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and drawing starts at 6 p.m.

Seminar to discuss DASH Diet

NORWAY — The DASH Diet has been proven to help lower blood pressure. Stephens Memorial Hospital’s registered dietitian Pat Watson will give an introduction to this eating plan while participants sample delicious, low-sodium, heart-healthy recipes.

DASH Diet to Lower High Blood Pressure will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, in the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Office Building, 193 Main St.

There is no cost for this program, although registration is required.
