KINGFIELD — Dave Jusseaume is High Peaks Artisan Guild’s featured artist of the month.

As a lifetime fisherman, Jusseaume finds the natural world fascinating and has directed his artistic intention toward the rivers and streams of New England. The colors and interplay of light on streams and rivers has always fascinated him.

In painting nature, Jusseaume said, “I try to capture these relationships first in representational work, then incorporating abstract elements as well.”

According to Jusseaume, all of nature is abstract, all one needs to do is find a piece of nature and really look at it.
