WEST PARIS — First Universalist Church of West Paris has announced its April Sunday worship services. Services begin at 9 a.m. and are followed by refreshments. Everyone is welcome.

April 3: Guest speaker Kevin Mannix will give a talk based on his and his wife’s recent book, “Weathering Shame,” a personal journey of shame and stigma. This autobiography by weatherman Kevin Mannix and social worker Linda Rota is about their individual experiences with shame and stigma throughout their childhood and adult lives. The Worship Service Committee will lead the service. Mannix will sign and sell books following the service. Refreshments will be provided. Everyone is welcome.

April 10: Traveling Light led by the Rev. Fayre Stephenson. As spring cleaning time approaches, on this Sunday the church will explore the challenge of letting go of possessions, of regrets, of grudges — of all of the excess baggage we carry.

April 17: Earth Day is our annual celebration and recognition of our fragile and beautiful earth, led by the Worship Service Committee.

April 24: Earth Day Redux led by the Rev. Fayre Stephenson. In honor of the 42nd Earth Day celebration on April 22, this service will be a tribute to earth. Attendees will examine the insights of Unitarian Universalist Religious Naturalists.
