The Main Street Gallery in Norway will hold its First Friday of the spring/summer season at 6 p.m. Friday, April 1. Artist of the Month Barbara Traficonte will show a series of new paintings from around the area. This painting was completed behind Main Street in Norway. She has been a member of Western Maine Art Group since the late 1970s and the director of the Main Street Gallery since its opening. Traficonte has now passed the reins to Tami Prescott, president of Western Maine Art Group, to spend more time in her studio. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
