PARIS — School Administrative District 17 will hold a districtwide student art show in the main lobby of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School from Tuesday, March 29, to Friday, April 8.
The timing is in conjunction with this year’s community musical “The Wizard of Oz.”
The exhibit is titled SPIRAL, and artwork from many grades and all district schools will focus on the spiral of learning from kindergarten through high school. Color and value (dark/light) and pattern are curriculum aspects which will be emphasized in this show.
District art teachers are Melissa Albert at Guy E. Rowe Elementary School in West Paris; Samantha Armstrong at Paris and Hebron elementary schools; Sharon Merrill at Waterford Memorial School and Harrison and Paris elementary schools; Carol Slade at Otisfield Community School and Oxford and Harrison elementary schools; Susan Moccia at Oxford Hills Middle School; and Phil Hammett, Cynthia Kugell and Nancy Marcotte at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
