AUBURN — The Auburn VFW will host a beach party to celebrate April Fools Day and Mother Nature’s sense of humor at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the Auburn VFW Hall, 588 Minot Ave.

A barbecue supper will be held at 5 p.m. for $7 per plate.

There will be prizes for the best summer shirt or outfit, giveaways, raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Music by 4PLay will start at 7 p.m., and there will not be a cover.

Proceeds benefit local homeless veterans programs.
