1949 – 2016

AUBURN — Beatrice A. Guy, 66, of South Monmouth passed away Wednesday, March 30, at the Hospice House.

She was born on April 28, 1949, in Aroostook County, a daughter of the late Daryl and Elsie Briggs. She grew up in the Auburn area and attended Auburn schools. Later on, after school, Beatrice met and married Lee Guy Sr. and the two spent many wonderful years together. During that time, she spent many hours working as a stack feeder and trainer for Dingley Press. She worked there for more than 18 years.

Bea will always be remembered for her love of being around people and bringing them joy. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino where she would try her luck at the slot machines.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lee Guy Sr. of South Monmouth; and her five children, Steve and Bobby Houle, both of Florida, Jason St. Pierre of Turner, Travis St. Pierre of Greene and Sheena St. Pierre of Lewiston. She also leaves behind a brother, John Briggs of Auburn; a sister, Irene Gilmet of Lewiston; as well as six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Jeannette Poussard and Rita Humphry.
