DEAR SUN SPOTS: Always can count on Sun Spots for help. My request is for Flip Flops for Haiti, plus assorted other goodies — like toiletries, baby clothing, short sleeve clothing for boys and girls ages 3- to 16-years-old, school supplies, soap (liquid and solid for personal use), hand towels, face cloths, combs, brushes, barrettes for girls’ hair, toothbrushes and paste, deodorant, and of course, flips flops for both children and adults. Please, no food or toys. All items must be in clean, good condition.
Last year, donations were awesome. We collected 265 pairs of flips flops and filled 65 boxes. The Sisters of The Holy Cross of Haiti were very pleased, and I hope to do more for all of them in that particular mission. Also still accepting monetary donations for Mother Theresa’s Mission, also in Haiti.
