1947 – 2016

AUBURN — Walter A. Campbell Jr., 68, of Oxford passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, at the Hospice House.

He was born in Westbrook on Sept. 30, 1947, the son of Walter A. and Celia (Gardner) Campbell Sr. He attended schools in Woburn, Mass., and graduated from Lake Region High School.

For most of his life, Walter worked at Dielectric in Raymond, and traveled the Western Hemisphere conducting training for them. He lived in Oxford for 38 years.

He married Sandra L. Goodwin on Nov. 12, 1966. She passed away on Dec. 30, 2009.

Walter leaves behind his son, John Campbell and his wife, Kristine, of Westfield, Mass.; a daughter, Tammy Campbell of Oxford; a sister, Mary Thompson of Bridgton; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Clark of Westfield, Mass.
