The Wilton Fish & Game Association members and guests recently hosted an appreciation dinner for several area game wardens and biologists. A few of the wardens had just returned from the field after participating in a search and rescue operation and were appreciative of a hot meal. Following the meal the wardens and biologists conducted a Q&A session. They shared several of their experiences throughout their careers. The biologists spoke on the mild winter and its effects on deer, turkeys, moose and ticks. From left, front row, are Pat Egan, Kris MacCabe, Scott Stevens and Brock Clukey; back row, Wildlife biologist Bob Cordes and Fisheries biologist Dave Howatt. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month. FMI: [email protected].
