First Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, for a regular meeting and lasagna dinner.

Members must have a ticket for the dinner and should bring a cup and utensils. Bingo will be played after lunch.

Tickets for the anniversary party at Martindale Country Club will be on sale for $10 each. This will be the last chance to buy the tickets. The party will be on May 4.

There were 39 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Stan Harmon and Connie Berry; pot of gold, Charlotte Dyer, Nancy Roy and Judy Holbrook; and 50/50, Bob Switser, Ruth Perry and Sally Gagnon.

Immigration officer drop-in hours

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will host immigration services officers from the Department of Homeland Security from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21.

The officers will hold a free, open office session for individuals from the community with any questions about the U.S. immigration process. The officers will be available in a second floor study room for one-on-one meetings. Drop-ins are welcome, no appointments are necessary.

Services provided include customer inquiries, case status for pending applications and general information about naturalization, citizenship, permanent residence and asylum/refugee information.

Turkey dinner with fixins’

AUBURN — American Legion Post No. 31 will host a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at 426 Washington St. North.

Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children younger than 12.
