1949 – 2016

LEWISTON — Michael R. Doyon, 67, a resident of the Stevens Mill Road in Auburn passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 5, at Central Maine Medical Center, after spending a lovely day with family.

He was born in Lewiston on Jan. 19, 1949, the son of Laurent and Fleurette (Lagrange) Doyon. Michael was educated in Auburn schools. He worked in the security field until his disability. He was a dog lover, who also loved music and enjoyed following baseball. He enjoyed going to Mohegan Sun for vacations.

Michael was very close to his mother, Fleurette, and cared for her at home until he could no longer.

Survivors include his mother, Fleurette of Auburn; two nephews, Dustin Gervais and wife, Amy Perry, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and his godson and best friend, Levi Gervais and fiancée, Courtney McDonough, of Auburn; four great-nieces, Brooke, Marilyn, Isabelle and Kyleigh; and one uncle, Laurier Lagrange and wife, Germaine, of Lewiston. Also surviving are numerous friends, especially his friends at Kathy’s Diner in Mechanic Falls.

He was predeceased by his father, Laurent.
