1949 – 2016

GREENWOOD — Linda C. Evans, 66, of Greenwood passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Linda was born in Rumford on Sept. 16, 1949, the daughter of Carroll and Ernestine (Bean) Sibley.

She attended local schools and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1967.

For most of her life, Linda was a homemaker. She later worked for many years at Bridgton Knitting Mill and most recently worked at McDonald’s in South Paris.

She leaves behind three sons, Merle of Greenwood, Kris of Greenwood, and Josh of South Paris; two daughters, April Evans of Norway, and Jennifer Williams and her husband, Lucas, of Wahaiwa, Hawaii; and eight grandchildren, Madison, Megan, Morgan, Emma, Benjamin, Sebastian, Lucas and Kobe.
