A table showing lead levels in water districts in Maine that ran on the Sun Journal website beginning March 9 had a discrepancy. The reported result for Bearhaven Crossing in Newry should have shown its testing result as 20 parts per billion. The information was compiled by The Associated Press representing federal EPA water quality tests for 49,370 water districts across the United States and the AP printed the data as it was recorded by the EPA. The information on the Sun Journal’s website has been corrected.
