Dog wash to benefit humane society

TOPSHAM — A charity dog wash will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Happy Paws Unleashed, 647 Lewiston Road.

Proceeds from the wash will benefit the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society.

Recreation hosting trip to York

AUBURN — Auburn Recreation Department Seniors Center is hosting a trip to Foster’s Clambake in York on Thursday, June 16.

Cost for the clambake and transportation is $45 per person. Participants do not need to be an Auburn resident or a member of a seniors group to attend. Registration is required by visiting the Auburn Recreation Department Senior Citizens office in Pettengill Park. Checks are payable to Auburn Rec Department.

Wall of Fame nominations sought

MONMOUTH — The Monmouth Academy Wall of Fame Committee seeks nominations for the Monmouth Academy Wall of Fame.

Established in 1988, the wall recognizes individuals who have made extraordinary contributions and a significant commitment to Monmouth Academy. The individuals whose names are enshrined on the Wall of Fame continually “went above and beyond” to benefit all stakeholders of Monmouth Academy, and they are held in great admiration by the school’s alumni, past colleagues and administrators, board members, school trustees and the community of Monmouth.

Deadline for nominations is May 6.
