LIVERMORE — Applications are available for artists, crafters and historical exhibitors for the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center’s Strawberry Festival.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
The Norlands welcomes crafters, artists, photographers, painters, potters, jewelers and more to exhibit, demonstrate, and/or sell their original artwork. All items must be handmade, not mass produced store bought, resale, or imported items.
The Norlands also seeks qualified and experienced artisans, re-enactors and scholars wishing to demonstrate a traditional craft using 19th century materials or methods such as woodworking or fiber arts. Civil War sutlers who sell period wares and authors of relevant books are also welcome.
Individuals, historical societies and museums are also welcome to exhibit and/or demonstrate antiques, collections or educational materials to visitors, providing the collection is relevant to the experiences of people who lived in the 1800s.
All applications are subject to approval. All vendors and exhibitors will be recognized in a final news release about the event and on the event program.
Applications will be accepted through May 20. A prepaid vendor fee of $15 is required if selling items. The vendor is expected to supply his/her own tent, tables and chairs. There is limited electricity available. If an application is not approved, the fee will be returned.
