AUBURN — The Auburn School Department has announced kindergarten registration dates for the 2016-17 school year. 

Parents and guardians need to call their neighborhood school to schedule an appointment. Those who are not sure which school should call 207-333-6658. If a a full day of kindergarten is a concern, caregivers may speak with the school principal.

Registrations will be held:

Walton Elementary: Call 207-784-1528 to schedule an appointment on Thursday or Friday, May 5 or 6, 92 Mary Carroll St. The principal is Mike Davis.

Park Avenue Elementary: Call 207-333-6657 to schedule an appointment on Monday or Tuesday, May 9 or 10, 161 Park Ave. The principal is Vickie Gaylord.

East Auburn Community: Call 207-782-4142 to schedule an appointment on Wednesday, May 11, at 15 Andrew Drive. The principal is Sue Dorris.

Sherwood Heights Elementary: Call 207-783-8526 to schedule an appointment on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, May 11, 12 or 13, at 32 Sherwood Drive. The principal is Kim Taylor.

Washburn Elementary: Call 207-784-5467 to schedule an appointment on Monday or Tuesday, May 16 or 17, at 35 Lake Auburn Ave. The principal is Laura Shaw.

Fairview Elementary: Call 207-784-3559 to schedule an appointment on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, May 18, 19 and 20, at 397 Minot Ave. The principal is Celeste Beaudet.

Parents and guardians will need to present the child’s legal birth certificate, social security card and record of immunizations during registration.
