LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Schools will hold pre-kindergarten registration for the 2016-17 school year.
The child must be born between Oct. 16, 2011, and Oct. 15, 2012.
Required documentation will include an official birth certificate; an I-94 or green card if the child was not born in the U.S.; immunization records; and proof of residency (driver’s license with school-appropriate address, lease or rent agreement, utility bills or mortgage agreement).
The school information meetings and registrations will be held Wednesday, May 4, at:
Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School: 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School, 145 Birch St.
Farwell Elementary School: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Farwell Elementary School, 84110 Farwell St.
Martel School: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School, 151 North Temple St.
Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School, 151 North Temple St.
Montello School: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Montello School, 407 East Ave.
Raymond A. Geiger Elementary: 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Raymond A. Geiger Elementary, 601 College St.
Parents who are not available on May 4 can make arrangements by contacting their home school or the superintendent’s office at 207-795-4103 for more information.
If a lottery is needed, it will be based on all students enrolled on June 3 and held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at the Lewiston Public Schools Central Office, 36 Oak St.
It is not necessary to bring the child to pre-kindergarten registration.
