DIXFIELD — Visitation and funeral services for Esther Stevens Russell of Farmington, formerly of Peru, were held Saturday afternoon, April 16, from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 42 Weld St., Dixfield, with the Rev. Sheperd Swain of the Peru Baptist Church officiating.

Family and friends shared many personal remembrances and her daughter-in-law, Sarah Russell, offered a special poem. A mixture of familiar hymns were played throughout the visitation and at the conclusion of the services.

Spring committal services will be held at the Village Cemetery, New Sharon.
