RUMFORD — A celebration of life for Dennis R. Sargent was held on Saturday April 16, at 11 a.m., at S.G. Thibault Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ralph Reinard officiated. Personal reflections were shared by his son, Seth Sargent; his oldest brother, Francis Sargent; and a neighbor, Karen Powers.
Special music selections were “Scotland the Brave,” “Amazing Grace,” “Among the Heather,” and If I Ever Would Leave You,” all by Charlie Zahm; “Peaceful and Blessings To the Rain” by Clann an Drumma; and “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Military Honors Detail of Augusta.
Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
