LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce has announced an Adult Scholarship Program for employees of chamber members.

Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually, directly to the recipient. One award will be made per individual, although the award may be divided to apply to two semesters of college work.

Applicants must:

• Be employed 20 or more hours by a member of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce;

• Begin course(s) within 6 months of receiving award;

• Be matriculated in college-level coursework applicable toward an associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree;

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and

• Be at least 18 years old.

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 6.
