SCARBOROUGH (AP) — A 33-year-old southern Maine man was sentenced to serve just shy of three years behind bars for drug trafficking in the Scarborough area.
The Portland Press Herald reported (http://bit.ly/1SfUuW9 ) Chad Conner was sentenced to 33 months in prison Wednesday in federal court. He pleaded guilty in October to his role in a conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and cocaine throughout Scarborough.
Prosecutors say Conner participated in the drug trafficking organization between August 2014 and April 2015.
U.S. Attorney Thomas Delahanty II says co-conspirators would give oxycodone pills and cocaine obtained out of state to Conner for distribution to customers.
A joint investigation conducted by Scarborough police and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration led to Conner’s arrest.
