LIVERMORE FALLS — The annual Flowers for Food fundraiser for the Tri-Town Ministerial Association Food Cupboard will be held over a period of two weekends.
Daffodils will be available for purchase from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 28 and 29, at Food City. They will also be available at the Daughters of Isabella yard sale on Saturday, April 30.
A weekday sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Otis Federal Credit Union in Jay.
The fundraiser is also in memory and honor of Marcel Castonguay, longtime volunteer and friend of community functions and the schools.
The flowers are picked from the gardens of Clyde Walton, Martina Eastman and Linda Therrien by the co-chairwomen of the event, Krista White and Eastman.
Those with daffodils who would like to contribute, or those wishing to volunteer to sell flowers, may call Matina at 207-897-3171 or White at 207-212-1997.
