PARIS — Members of the Paris Revitalization Committee hope people will hop on down to Moore Park on Saturday, April 30, for an eggcellent time.
The ad hoc committee “is having a Spring Fling party and the whole town is invited,” says Chris Bass, who spearheaded organizing the third community event at the Park Street park. “Come have lots of family fun at Moore Park.”
The first-ever Spring Fling 2016 Eggstravaganza will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, May 1, at the same time.
There will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. They include fishing for chicks, tossing a raw egg, flinging a rubber chicken, running relays, learning egg facts and enjoying the bouncy house and refreshments.
The highlight of the day is the Great Egg Drop Challenge at 3 p.m. where attendees will see if their eggs will survive a large fall from the top of a ladder truck.
